Code of Conduct

Players will treat other players as they wish to be treated.
Players will not tease, abuse, ridicule, taunt, or demean, other players, coaches, referees, or spectators. (This includes opposing teams.)
Players will not, under any circumstances, participate in physical violence or threats before, during, or after any game or practice. (This includes opposing and other teams.)
Players will listen to their coaches and trainers and accept the advice and rules with respect.
Players will win with grace and lose with dignity. You, your club and your association are judged by your behavior.
Players are prohibited from the use of alcohol or illegal drugs while on the active roster of any Delmarva/Henlopen Rush team.
Players will obey the laws of the game and play within the spirit of the game.
Players will support the team and club by volunteering services when needed.
Players will support all HSC and HSC: Select Teams, (Participants and Volunteers) in a positive way.

Parents and their guests agree to support Delmarva/Henlopen Rush Soccer Club, Travel & Rec Teams by following all State, League and Club rules.
Parents must remember that every player on the team is a contributing player. Soccer is a team sport and without each player, there is no team.
Parents will refrain from negative, insulting, or embarrassing dialogue and taunting behavior with any players, coaches, referees, parents and spectators, before, during and after all soccer-related activities. Parents agree to spread encouragement and positive support equally amongst the teams (opposing and your own), players, coaches, and officials.
Parents are to remember that this is a “learning experience” for players, and to support this experience, just as you would any other sport and school related activity.
Parents will support the coach and his or her decisions and will refrain from verbal criticism during any game. Remember, the coach makes the final decision regarding players on the field.
Parents will remember that winning and losing are both parts of any game. Every team must learn to win with dignity, and lose with grace.
Parents will support the team and club by volunteering their services when needed. Volunteers are the cornerstone of this program.
Parents are not to use or possess alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons of any kind while attending any Club Function.
