SELECT PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Select Program, or travel soccer, is organized by age and gender. It provides a highly competitive training and playing environment for those players (and their families) who have the required athletic ability, soccer skills, commitment, and can meet the other demands placed upon them. HSC soccer travel teams are competitive. Therefore, making the roster, and staying on the roster, must be earned based on the team member’s play.

Player carding is the process through which a player's date of birth is verified and a player is approved to play by Delaware Youth Soccer Association (DYSA).

TRAINING PROGRAM

For those players invited to train with a travel team in order to improve their soccer skills, but who are not on the roster and do not participate in games or at tournaments.
